Mallard Productions provided a series of videos for brand agency Light Blue, charting the journey of the Aperol Spritz Social across various UK festivals.The films focus heavily on the Aperol Spritz brand. It was important that each film reflected the ethos of the brand and featured the right target audience.
We travelled to Manchester, London (Lovebox) and the Isle of Wight (Bestival). Although the films feature the Aperol Spritz drink predominantly in the video, it was also important to get an idea of the location and setting of each festival.
The crew used a variety of different filming techniques within each promo. These included the use of steadicams, animation and timelapse cinematography. The result is a set of lively, high energy videos.
