The National Lottery Awards are the annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects. Mallard Productions were involved in producing a short film about one of this year’s nominees for Camelot.
Now in their 15th year, the aim of the awards is to recognise the difference that Lottery-funded projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK. We visited the Ignition Automotive Training Centre, which was set up as a working garage to give people from different backgrounds an opportunity to develop their skills in a real work setting.
We were joined by Boyzone’s Shane Lynch, who is a bit of an automobile enthusiast himself. Shane spent the day learning about what was happening at Ignition and meeting some of the people who are currently working there.
The video was used on the National Lottery’s news and events show ‘Lottery Latest’ and has also been uploaded onto Youtube.
