Mallard Productions have just completed a series of short films for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). The videos were produced for the agency’s VIBES Awards.
The awards are given each year to businesses and organisations that are taking significant steps to improve or reduce their impact on the environment. We were commissioned to produce a series of films prior to the award show that focused on these businesses. The first set of films were shown at the event itself and included interviews with selected industry experts who were on the judging panel. Each interviewee recounted the reasons why the businesses were nominated within each category.
Once the winners had been announced we produced nine additional case study films. Each film was shot at the winners’ respective locations. We interviewed members of each company with two separate cameras to allow us to cut between angles. We also shot additional material of the businesses at work and edited this together with music and titles to be used on the winner’s own websites and The VIBES Awards social media channels.
In addition to this we produced a promotional film of the Award Show itself. For more information on what we have produced for SEPA and other enivonrmental organisations please check out our environmental page here.
