Mallard Productions were asked to produce the official music video for the new single from symphonic rock/metal outfit, Fall Of Eve.
The band have a very distinctive style and we were keen to capture that same style within the music video. The track (Shields of Faith) is a high energy orchestral rock number. The strings give it a very filmic feel and the song builds and builds throughout so we decided to work a narrative into the video.
For the location we opted for something that Scotland has plenty of; beautiful remote castles. We liked the idea of creating a vintage horror feel for the music video and set the majority of the narrative at night.
We’ve filmed Fall of Eve a couple of times since, and produced a second music video and a live video. Shields of Faith has currently picked up around 26,000 plays on Youtube.
