Mallard Productions were commissioned by Carbon Copy to create a promotional film for their group. Carbon Copy is a 4 piece Glasgow band, specialising in the Scottish wedding industry.
Carbon Copy have performed for companies such as STV, First Mortgage, Scottish Power, and play at corporate events, festivals, parties, proms, fundraisers and anniversaries. They have extensive experience in the business and we were thrilled to have worked with them to help promote their services.
The filming took place at Trades Hall of Glasgow, in Glasgow’s Merchant City. The venue itself is elegant, with its captivating historic setting suitable for a variety of functions, such as weddings, balls, and business events.
We were asked to produce a film featuring a medley of songs for the group including Blondie’s Atomic, ACDC’s Highway to Hell and a mixture of 90’s dance classics. Carbon Copy have an extremely diverse set list, covering a variety of styles, eras and genres and it was a lot of fun to mix up our filming styles to compliment this.
They are one of a growing number of wedding and function bands that we have had the privilege of filming. Other acts we have produced music videos for include Splendid Gentleman, Three Card Trick, Ernest, Aurora, and Daytura.
