Do I need my own equipment?
You are more than welcome to bring your own camera equipment along but don't worry if you don't have anything just yet. We have lots of different industry standard cameras here from Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Blackmagic, Go Pro and DJI.
How much does it cost?
Price start at £250 (+VAT) per person but get a little cheaper per person when you bring along colleagues or friends.
Who will be teaching me?
The course is taken by one of our in house team of industry professionals. We are all currently working within the field of Film and TV, and have lots of experience with different types of filmmaking. We can also give you up to date industry advice.
What are the timings of the course?
We begin each course at 9:30am and finish up around 5pm.
When do you run the course?
The course runs all year round. You can book at a date convenient to you and we can be flexible around your availability. The course can be booked on weekdays or on weekends.
Where does the training take place?
We run all our courses from our offices in Glasgow. We are based in a beautiful old farmhouse. The address can be found at the bottom of this page.
How do I get there?
We are based in Hillington Park in Glasgow and can be accessed via car and public transport. We have plenty of parking and are also just a 4-minute walk away from Hillington West train station. Our building is quite unique, so you can’t miss us!
What software do you teach on?
We normally teach on Adobe Premiere Pro which is what we predominantly use here at Mallard Productions. If you would like to learn on different software (like Final Cut) then please get in touch.
Where can I get food?
There is a food court nearby that includes a Bocadillo cafe, Subway and Greggs. There is also a small cafe called Marys and a Harvester pub.
