Role: Production Coordinator
Start Date: January / February 2026
We are excited to announce that we have a new vacancy for a full time Production Coordinator at Mallard Productions.
We are looking for someone with great communication skills who loves organising and being part of a creative team. You will be involved in a diverse range of productions, from concept all the way to completion.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Communicating directly with clients about projects via email, phone, video chat and face to face meetings
- Looking to the future and planning shoots and schedules
- Writing proposals, quotes, briefs and invoices
- Supporting with managing the office environment
- Manage deadlines and communicate with clients
- Collaborating with clients & our in-house animator to create scripts and storyboards for short videos
- Sorting travel requirements for crew
- Liaising directly with the rest of the team
- Dealing with last minute production changes
- Day to day problem solving
- Assisting on shoots when required
- Producing Risk Assessments
The successful applicant will need to be able to:
- Communicate effectively and clearly
- Have good writing and IT skills
- Take their own initiative
- Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Have a great work ethic
- Enjoy working in a passionate team and want to see the company grow
- Be able to adapt to a rapidly changing working environment
- Take direction when required, whilst also working autonomously to self-direct and take ownership of a project where necessary
- Be happy to communicate at different times of the day if shoot times/details change at the last minute
We are accepting applications from candidates at all stages of their career so we do not have a fixed salary for this role.
We currently do not have a closing date for applications but are hoping to begin interviews in December 2025. The job will be based at our offices in Hillington, Glasgow. There is plenty of on site parking and we are just across the street from a train station with regular trains to Glasgow Central. We also have a very friendly office dog that demands lots of cuddles!
