We were invited by Petra Palumbo to create a suite of promotional videos of her range of homeware products. Petra ties in both influences from her Lebanese ancestry and the history embedded in Scotland to create a collective and timeless design with care in mind.
Petra is a supporter of Trees for Life; a charity dedicated to rewilding the Scottish Highlands by providing a space for wildlife to flourish and thrive. After moving her company up to the Scottish Highlands, Petra chose to support this local charity through giving her customers the option to add a £1 donation at checkout whilst purchasing one of her products.
We created a suite of 30 second videos showing the functionality of the products, such as coasters, gift wrap, trays, cheese boards, and delftware. We also created a 90 second & 2 minute video, which detailed the relationship between Petra Palumbo and Trees for Life. This video was shot in the Scottish Highlands, and included interviews with both Petra and Catherine Faulkner, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Trees for Life.
The videos were used as reels on Petra’s Instagram, @petra_palumbo, whilst additionally being used on her website, therefore the entirety of the videos were shot vertically.
Since Petra has been supporting the work of Trees for Life, for the customers that gave a donation through Petra’s products, trees have been added to the wild forest in the Scottish Highlands. This is a great incentive for customers and the public to be involved in conservation measures in a simple way.
