We were commissioned by the GroceryAid to produce a 90 second film of their one day event, Co-op Windermere Row.
This was put together to enable Co-operative staff and industry colleagues to engage in team building, whilst also raising their profile and funds for the charity.
The event took place at the stunning Lake Windermere in the Lake District. There were two teams taking part in a 10 mile row on the lake, split across two sessions between the morning and the afternoon. We captured footage of sponsors, activations, branding, networking, a BBQ and refreshments, and of course, the row itself. We collected some great drone shots highlighting the beautiful scenery of Lake Windermere and Ambleside. After the daytime events, there was an evening celebration at the local Low Wood Bay Resort, for a night filled with food, music, and relaxed networking.
GroceryAid is a registered benevolent society that supports individuals who have worked, or are working within the grocery industry in the UK. GroceryAid has provided emotional, practical and financial support to grocery colleagues since 1857. The Co-operative is the new partner for the Windermere Row, and are helping GroceryAid to raise these important funds.
In 2024, GroceryAid has raised an overwhelming £240,000 to help support grocery colleagues. We have worked with GroceryAid several times before, and we are always happy to work with their team to create projects that support an important cause.
