We were approached by Nico Ev to create a music video for the release of her new single, Oh My Love.
Nico is a fantastically talented Scottish singer song-writer based in Glasgow. She has over 15 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, gaining a Bachelors in Music Education with Honours in 2010. She has a strong hold in the Glasgow music scene, and hosts regular music nights.
Oh My Love is a reminder to nurture creativity and to prioritise self-care, with the message that you can be all you need. The video was shot in a lodge at the foot of The Campsies, and captures Nico’s warm energy throughout, as she sings and performs within the beautiful scenery. The concept of the video was following Nico as she built herself a new guitar, after a mischievous puppy destroyed her first instrument at the beginning of the video.
Nico was awarded Creative Scotland funding, which allows individuals or organisations to work within the arts in Scotland by helping to bring their ideas to life. Since then, she has distributed new releases, such as Just Hold On and Angeline.
