Mallard Productions were proud to be asked to film a TV advert for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) to demonstrate the organisation’s incredible animal rescues and rehabilitation and encourage donations. The idea behind the advert was to focus on a positive message and showcase the positivity of the work that the charity does.
The SSPCA was founded in 1839 and has rescued, rehomed and encouraged kindness towards all animals ever since. Not only do the SSPCA rehome and rescue animals, they also offer other services such as fostering, neutering and microchipping alongside their helpline which takes more than five hundred calls per day. They remain Scotland’s only all animal rescue team.
The advert featured a range of different animals that the SSPCA support, from domestic pets such as cats and dogs, to wildlife such as owls and snakes. We captured some lovely moments that emphasise the strong bond between the animals and workers at the SSPCA.
Last year, with the support of public donations, the SSPCA were able to rehabilitate and rehome over three thousand and four hundred animals to loving homes.
