Aberlour – No Bad Ends

We were approached by our friends at Aberlour to help create a series of videos for their upcoming fundraising campaign, No Bad Ends, which advocates that a bad start in life shouldn’t mean a bad end.

Aberlour is a Scottish children’s charity that helps to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people, working to beat poverty and discrimination. Research commissioned by Aberlour discovered that young people living in the most deprived areas are three times more likely to die before the age of 25. Therefore, Aberlour is calling upon the Scottish Government to further support and prioritise child wellbeing.

The video highlights the importance of the campaign by having Morgan, a woman who was supported by Aberlour when she was a child, tell us her story and detail how Aberlour made a lasting impact to her life. We conducted interviews with Morgan and the Young People’s Worker that supported her, Johnny Hendry. We collected B-roll footage of the pair and another Aberlour Young People’s Worker, Julie Craig, that additionally supported Morgan. The campaign won a PRCA Award.

Morgan thanks the work of Johnny and Julie, as she doesn’t know where she would be without them. We learn that Morgan was accepted to study Law at the University of the West of Scotland, and in the future, Morgan hopes to graduate university and work with Aberlour to change the lives of families and support young people.

We always love working with Aberlour and supporting a great cause. If you are interested in finding out what we can do for your charity, then please do get in touch.
